- "May" means this effect is optional. You may just play the card for its score and not do its effect. If you do not, this card is a blue card with a value of 0.
- You may copy a mood of another player.
- You don't copy anything but the base version of the card. For example, if you copy Patience ("This mood's value is 1 if you played it this round"), your copy will have a value of 1 the turn you copy it even if the card you're copying now has a value of 5.
- This is the only card in the game (other than the cycle of common blank cards) without a "To play this card," "When in play," or "After playing this mood" ability. However, if you copy another card it will gain one or more.
- If this ever leaves play, it returns to its base card, meaning if a card cares about what color it is in the discard pile, the answer is blue.
- The card stays as a copy even if the original later leaves play.
- If you use Creativity to copy a Creativity in play, you copy whatever that Creativity is a copy of and not Creativity itself.
- If Doubt prevents a blue card from being played, you will not be able to play Creativity as it is blue in your hand.
- Creativity's copying effect happens first, before "To play this card" effects happen, so if a card has to pay a cost, the person playing Creativity will still have to pay it. For example, if you copy a Self-Loathing you will still need to put one of your moods in play into the discard pile.
- Creativity's copying will also happen before "While in play" effects that care about a card getting played occur (Duplicity, Scorn, and Validation), so they will respond to the card as the copied version. For example, if you play Creativity, you will only get to play another card with Validation if the card you copy has a 0 or 1 in the top right corner.
- Cards are the color they are in your hand when you play them. A Doubt stopping blue would stop Creativity from being played.
