Repentance
2After playing this mood — You may choose a number. If you do, suppress all other moods with the chosen value. They remain suppressed until the end of this round. (While suppressed, those moods have a value of 0. Turn them sideways to keep track.)
7 notes
- "May" means this effect is optional. You do not have to choose a number.
- A card that is suppressed has a value of 0 for the purposes of scoring. This includes cards that start at 0 and gain value due to effects.
- The suppressed mood is still in play and is counted for any effects that care. For example, your opponent suppresses your Sadness (worth 2 extra for every card in the discard pile). Sadness now has a value of 0, but it is still a black card in play that can help make your Excitement worth 6.
- If this mood moves to another player, the suppressed card(s) remains suppressed until the end of the round.
- Repentance's suppress effect continues until the end of the round. After scoring, the cards are no longer suppressed.
- Because values are only whole numbers, you may only choose a whole number. You can choose a number that doesn't have a mood in play with that value.
- Repentance affects all moods in play with that value, including your cards.
